The Royal Thai Government Makes a Donation of medical supplies to the Government of the Republic of Namibia as Assistance to Combat COVID-19 On 22 October 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent 4 units of Auto Continuous Positive Airway Pressure System (CPAP) and 50 units of Portable Phlegm Suction Unit to the Government of the Republic of Namibia. The donation was made in response to the request by the Government of the Republic of Namibia, which is facing shortages of medical resources in combating the spread of COVID-19.

On 27 October 2021, Mr. Gabriel Uahengo, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Republic of Namibia represented the Royal Thai Government in the donation handover ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia. The event was presided by H.E. Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndailwah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1990, Thailand and Namibia enjoy cordial and friendly ties and have expanded their cooperation to cover many fields, especially trade, investment and technical cooperation.
